Hiking Backpack Child Carriers for Checkout

Do you enjoy the outdoors? Did you hike before children, or have you been thinking of introducing your little one to a new outdoor activity? We can help!!

Starting this summer, we have five backpack child carriers for hiking that will be available at no cost for checkout through the Lend & Learn Toy Library!

Partnership with Missouri River Relief

The child carriers are funded through a partnership with Missouri River Relief. Earlier this year, they approached us about partnering together to make these carriers accessible to families in our community, and we quickly said yes!

“When families have meaningful experiences outdoors their quality of life, health and social wellbeing improve. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy time outdoors, but we know that outdoor gear for families can be expensive, especially when kids outgrow these items so quickly. Whether you’re new to hiking or an experienced hiker, consider making the next time you hit the trail for a few miles into the woods a family affair by checking out one of our child carriers.”
